Branding I love: Zulia & Huipa
When I first started my blog, I used to write about the unique, interesting, and beautiful branding moments I found around New York City. Today, I want to share a brand & branding I found a few weeks back that I think is worth sharing.
A few weekends back, my mom was in town visiting and my older sister, a true New Yorker, was showing us around the cutest little market called Hester Street Fair.
There are so many unique and amazing vendors that, but one in particular really stood out to me and that is Zulia & Huipa.
My family and I were first drawn in by the handbags she had on display. They were so unique looking and practical that we had to stop and take a closer look. While oo-ing and aww-ing, the store owner started to tell us a little more about her bags.
She is originally from Mexico, and personally designs each bag, then works with women in Mexico to create each bag by hand. I loved her story and really loved how she had branded herself. Her logo was really on point, and you could see the thought and care that went into her bags, but in also her branding.
What I loved about her branding:
// I love how simple, yet detailed the font and emblem are on her logo. I feel like it really reflects the products she creates, which is a sign of great branding.
// The tags and business cards are very high quality and I love that even though this is a small business, there is still no skimping on the quality.
// I love how unique the brand color is. It’s not your average maroon or dark red but is a color that really stands out.
